iPad App Offers Access to Classroom Materials

FlightSafety’s iPad application is an offline tool that prepares pilots, maintenance and cabin crew for upcoming training courses by providing materials for classroom instruction in a user-friendly format.

With the app, FlightSafety Customers can download all their training materials, which will automatically update when content is revised. The interactive format features easy-to-digest visual guides to the flight deck, cabin, systems and components.

The wide variety of documents – including pilot handbooks, other digital manuals, cockpit posters and client guides give pilots, maintenance and cabin crew ready access to the training materials for reference during classroom instruction. Handy flashcards test how well students absorb their subject – then go away once the material is mastered. The application is available for free from the iTunes App Store.

Second Generation Coming Soon
FlightBag, our second-generation app, features a more intuitive interface and enhanced annotation tools. FlightBag will also provide Customers complete access to classroom materials 30 days before training, to allow them to gain the most value out of their in-center learning. Watch for an announcement in the coming weeks when FlightBag is available for download.
