CPDLC/ADS-C Course Now Available

A new FlightSafety eLearning course helps Gulfstream G650 pilots make the best use of their Controller Pilot Data Link Communication systems.

The three-hour scenario-based course covers operations in both normal and abnormal situations, taking pilots through a flight planning phase as well as a flight over the Atlantic Ocean.

The CPDLC/ADS-C course will soon be available on the subscription-based CPDLC iFlightDECKTM application. The app will provide online access to the latest information needed to help pilots understand and operate their aircraft safely and efficiently. The Gulfstream G650 CPDLC app will present a comprehensive series of CPDLC and ADS-C tasks.

Its interactive representation of the Gulfstream G650 cockpit presents scenarios that help users fully understand and correctly perform necessary actions. The FMS enables pilots to engage in CPDLC and ADS-C operations as they would in the actual aircraft.

FlightSafety also offers CPDLC eLearning courses for the Gulfstream G280, Gulfstream G450 and Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
