NEW YORK (July 15, 2014) – FlightSafety International and Sikorsky plan to offer training for the Sikorsky S-76D™, Sikorsky S-92A®, and Sikorsky S-76C+/C++™ helicopters in Asia.
“This new capability will augment FlightSafety’s reach in Asia and provide Sikorsky helicopter operators in the region with the highest quality training using our advanced technology Level D qualified simulators,” said Bruce Whitman, President & CEO. “This significant investment further demonstrates our commitment to serve and support Sikorsky and respond to the needs of the growing number of Sikorsky helicopter operators in Asia.”

Training for the Sikorsky S-92A® and Sikorsky S-76C+/C++™ helicopters will be offered in Singapore. It is expected to begin in 2015 following the installation and Level D qualification of the simulators. The installation of a Sikorsky S-76D™ helicopter Level D qualified simulator in Southeast Asia is also planned. The exact timing and location will be determined by FlightSafety and Sikorsky based on Customer needs.
FlightSafety is proud to have served as a factory authorized training provider for Sikorsky since 1983. Training is currently available at FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Dallas, Texas; Lafayette, Louisiana; Stavanger, Norway: West Palm Beach, Florida; and at the Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.
