FlightSafety International Promotes Yannick Kerriou to Manager of the Paris-Le Bourget Learning Center

NEW YORK (January 6, 2015) – FlightSafety International announces that Yannick Kerriou has been promoted to Manager of its Learning Center located at the Paris-Le Bourget airport in France. He assumes this responsibility from Patrick Dulac who has retired from the company.

His contributions to our Dassault Falcon and Embraer aircraft training programs, and his management of the Paris Center, are greatly appreciated. All of us with FlightSafety wish him the very best in retirement.”

Yannick began his career in commercial aviation with British Airways as an aircraft maintenance technician after serving in the French Air Force for five years. He first joined FlightSafety at the Paris Center in 1990. He served as an instructor for Dassault Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Embraer EMB 120 aircraft, and as Program Manager for Bombardier Dash 8 training. He left the company in 1998 to work for BA City Express as Manager Technical Training, Fleet Technical Manager, Captain and Type Rating Instructor. He then flew for EasyJet and Cathay Pacific as a Senior First Officer. Yannick returned to FlightSafety’s Paris Center in 2011 as Program Manager for Embraer 170 training. He then served as Assistant Director of Training, Director of Training, and most recently as Assistant Center Manager.

He holds an Airline Transport Pilots License from the Civil Aviation Authority in the United Kingdom, the Federal Aviation Administration in the United States, and Transport Canada. Yannick is an EASA qualified Type Rating Examiner and Type Rating Instructor. He holds Type Ratings for the Bombardier Dash 8, Boeing 737, Boeing 747, and Embraer 170 aircraft. Yannick holds an associate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Air Force Technical College in France, a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sorbonne Paris-Cité University of Technology, and will soon receive an executive MBA from ESSEC & Mannheim Business Schools.

The Paris-Le Bourget Center currently provides training for the Dassault Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20/20-5, Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX EASy/DX/LX, Falcon 2000, Falcon 2000EX EASy/DX/LX, and Falcon 7X. It will offer the Falcon 2000LXS starting in November 2015, and the Falcon 8X once the aircraft enters service. The Center also provides training for the Cessna Citation II and Citation V and Embraer EMB 120, ERJ 145, Legacy 600/650, E-Jets 170/190, and Lineage 1000 aircraft. A wide variety of courses for maintenance technicians and flight attendants are also available at the Center.
