FlightSafety International to Install a New Dassault Falcon 2000LXS Simulator in Paris

NEW YORK (May 19, 2014) – FlightSafety International announces that it will install a new Dassault Falcon 2000LXS flight simulator at its Learning Center located at the Paris- Le Bourget airport. This is in addition to the Falcon 2000EX EASy simulator already in place at the Center.

“Building a new Falcon 2000LXS flight simulator for our Paris Center further demonstrates FlightSafety’s commitment and ability to provide the highest quality training designed to meet the specific needs of our Customers,” said David Davenport, Senior Vice President. “Pilots and maintenance technicians who operate and support the Falcon 2000LXS will benefit from the increased availability and scheduling flexibility the new simulator provides.”

Training for the Falcon 2000LXS is expected to begin in September 2015. The program will include initial, recurrent and update training for pilots, maintenance technicians, and flight attendants. The new simulator will feature EASy II avionics and offer Enhanced Flight Visual System, Head-Up Guidance System, Emergency Vision Assurance System and Electronic Flight Bag. It will be qualified to Level D and approved for training by the European Aviation Safety Agency and the United States Federal Aviation Administration. Qualification by other regulatory agencies around the world will be applied for and obtained according to Customer needs.

FlightSafety’s Paris-Le Bourget Center provides training for the Dassault Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20/20-5 Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX EASy/DX/LX, Falcon 2000, Falcon 2000EX EASy/DX/LX, and Falcon 7X. The center also offers training for the Cessna Citation II and Citation V and Embraer EMB 120, ERJ 145, Legacy 600/650, E-Jets 170/190, and Lineage 1000. A wide variety of courses for maintenance technicians, and flight attendants are also available in Paris.

Training for the complete line of Dassault Falcon aircraft is offered at FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Columbus, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Teterboro, New Jersey; Wilmington, Delaware; and at the Paris-Le Bourget airport.
