Flightsafety Launches eLearning Program Designed to Support Regional Airlines

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (May 23, 2006) – FlightSafety International announced today that it has launched a new eLearning initiative designed to support the diverse needs of regional airlines.

“Our latest eLearning initiative will offer web-based training and hosted eLearning systems designed to support pilots, flight attendants, aircraft maintenance technicians, and ground crew for operators of regional aircraft,” said Jon Pollack, eLearning Operations Manager, FlightSafety International. “We’ve taken FlightSafety’s experience in courseware development and our extensive library of training programs to provide comprehensive eLearning programs that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of regional airlines”.

FlightSafety’s eLearning system has been designed for rapid deployment of new course material along with the ability to import and integrate content from third party providers. This hosted turnkey solution includes regulatory approval support for courses and does not require the customer to provide internal IT support.

Regional airline operators can augment their current training programs with a wide variety of new FlightSafety eLearning programs that will include initial, recurrent or specialty program courses. This self-service “on-demand” interactive training will include both type-specific and general topic training programs offered in self-contained modules.

FlightSafety’s regional airline customers will have the ability to deliver training to their employees through a portal that includes their own logo, color scheme and design. They can also customize course content to include topics that are specific to their operations.

FlightSafety customers will have the opportunity to supplement their Learning Center training, review recent activities and prepare for upcoming courses through a variety of new eLearning programs. It will also provide those who are not currently training with FlightSafety an opportunity to experience the quality and depth of the company’s training programs in an eLearning environment.
