LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (January 9, 2006) – FlightSafety International has promoted Julie Goodridge to Manager of the company’s West Palm Beach Florida Learning Center.
Goodridge succeeds Pat Knott who is retiring from the company. “We thank Pat for his leadership, commitment to excellence and over 22 years of dedicated service and wish him and his family good health and happiness for the future,” said Bruce Whitman, President FlightSafety International.
Julie began her career with FlightSafety in 2001 serving as Product Marketing Manager at the Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington Learning Center and was promoted to Assistant Manager of the West Palm Beach Learning Center in 2004.

She has proven management abilities and is clearly committed to providing quality training programs in a customer-centered atmosphere at West Palm Beach,” said Bruce Whitman, President, FlightSafety International. “ Her experience, expertise and leadership have helped make the West Palm Beach Learning Center one of FlightSafety’s highest rated facilities in customer satisfaction.”
The FlightSafety West Palm Beach Learning Center offers safety-centered training programs for business jets and helicopters. Pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals train at the Center on a fleet of seven FlightSafety built full flight simulators for aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Piaggio and Sikorsky.
Goodridge holds a private pilot license and was previously Alumni Director at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds two Bachelors Degrees and a Master of Aeronautical Science, with specializations in both Operations and Safety, from Embry-Riddle. Julie is a member of the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Safety Committee.
