FlightSafety Launches New Online Training Courses

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (September 24, 2007) – FlightSafety International announces a new series of web-based training courses and a subscription based Enrichment Subjects Library.

“We’ve combined FlightSafety’s 56 years of training experience with today’s technology and strong instructional design methodology, to create interactive, engaging and effective online courseware,” said Jon Pollack, eLearning Operations Manager.

The Enrichment Subjects Library currently includes Domestic RVSM, Cold Weather Operations, Controlled Flight Into Terrain, and EGPWS/TAWS. The next series of eight courses, available later this year, will include TCAS II (version 7), P-RNAV, and ILS/PRM.

FlightSafety’s online self-paced courses include Maintenance RVSM, Universal UNS-1 FMS Fundamentals, Gulfstream GV Anytime, and Garmin G1000 for the Citation Mustang.

Other unique courses include Hazardous Material Recognition for “no-carry” operators, and an Executive Emergency Equipment and Egress course designed to familiarize business aircraft passengers with the emergency procedures and equipment on-board a specific aircraft.
